The City of Livingston, the Livingston School District, and Park County are all very progressive in wanting to upgrade their sidewalks and pedestrian routes to be ADA compliant and desirable for use by citizens, especially for children walking to and from school. One major project that is being completed is replacing and adding sidewalks along South H Street, South F Street, South Main Street, and along View Vista Drive. This project will create a safe route for all pedestrians who are attending Park High School, Sleeping Giant Middle School, East Side School, and Saint Mary’s School. This project will also create a continuous flow of sidewalks for anyone walking to the Park County Fairgrounds from the downtown or H Street areas. Construction is slated to begin in June 2015. The total cost of the project was $322,775 and was raised with zero debt service.
