MISSION
The Museum of North Idaho's mission is to preserve and illuminate our past to inspire our future.
Museum of North Idaho: MONI
The Dotted i proudly supported the Museum of North Idaho (MONI) with their "Moving History Forward" capital campaign, securing over $1 million in grant funding to help construct an 11,500 square foot facility dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history, heritage, and culture of North Idaho. Among the successful grants, we prepared and submitted a $500,000 Infrastructure and Capacity Building grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, which was awarded. MONI’s new facility will enhance educational programming, bridge cultural and generational gaps, and help the Museum tell the whole story of the region. We can’t wait to see this new facility come to life!
MISSION
To provide excellent, affordable reproductive and sexual healthcare and education in a safe, supportive, empowering atmosphere.
Bridgercare
Since 2022, The Dotted i has provided grant writing and research services to Bridgercare with great success! As a reproductive and sexual healthcare clinic, finding funding for key programs and services can often be nuanced. However, since our partnership with Bridgercare began, we've more than doubled their grant application submissions. Our efforts have led to significant growth in non-federal grant funding, from approximately $240,942 in 2022 to $485,150 to date in 2024, reflecting steady growth during a critical period of expansion. The success of our collaboration with the Bridgercare team means that they can continue to provide accessible and compassionate healthcare to community members across south central Montana.
MISSION
To build college and career pathways for 4th–12th grade girls living in rural and Tribal communities across Montana through leadership skills, self-empowerment, and hands-on experiences in coding, technology, and business education.
Code Girls United
Since 2020, The Dotted i has partnered with Code Girls United to provide grant writing support. Our collaboration began with a successful MJ Murdock Charitable Trust application that allowed Code Girls to hire their first Executive Director. Since then, the organization has grown from an all-volunteer team to a paid staff of eight, significantly expanding their impact. Together, we have raised over $1.3 million to support operating expenses, program expansion, and staff capacity. This increased capacity has enabled Code Girls United to fill crucial gaps in computer science education for young girls in Montana, empowering the next generation of female leaders in technology.
