Laura Bismack
Grant Specialist
BA in Communications, Minor in Women’s Gender & Health from the University of Michigan
A dedicated altruist, Laura’s career has been devoted to serving others since 2010. She has successfully secured vital funding for children battling cancer and infectious diseases, families navigating the complexities of the court system and struggling with substance abuse and mental health, as well as homeless college students in Detroit. Taking a break from her career to focus on raising her three children, Laura’s triumphant return to the workforce was fueled by an unwavering commitment to her philanthropic passions.
She likens the opportunity to work with TDi as being “a kid in a candy shop,” as she gets to empower numerous extraordinary non-profit organizations, contributing to the betterment of communities, the country, and the world, truly exemplifying the essence of “making a difference.”
An ardent music enthusiast, Laura often immerses herself in the compositions of her favorite artist, John Williams, while crafting her next written masterpiece. During the weekends, you’ll find Laura exploring local arts and craft shows with her mother or passionately cheering on her alma mater, the University of Michigan, during football Saturdays. Laura is a multifaceted professional with a passion for words and a heart devoted to the betterment of society through the non-profit sector.
