We wanted to share this article from Vu, who runs Nonprofit AF. He talks about reducing the stigma around mental illness and how we can step up to support those who are affected by it. It’s a quick and great read that shares some really important statistics and ideas.

Did you know that 1 in 5 people suffer from mental illness? Many of those suffering are not receiving the care that they need due to stigmas around mental health and their fear of reaching out for help. Here in Gallatin County we have several amazing resources, The Help Center and Suffer Out Loud.

I saw a great meme on Facebook yesterday and it said “Don’t forget to check in on your strong friend”. You really never know who is facing challenges until you reach out and connect with them. If you think someone is having an ‘off’ day – see how you can help!
